Oakeshott Type XIIa Medieval Sword Early Fuller Termination

Description: Straight, double-edged (almost parallel) blade, with a fuller on two-thirds of its length; tang of rectangular section narrowing toward the edge; straight quillons of rectangular section. Note that the fuller does not run all the way under the guard, an unusual but not entirely unknown feature of some medieval European cruciform swords.
