Oakeshott Type XV Medieval Sword Late 14th Early 15th C.

In excavated condition, with wide sharply tapering blade of hollowed flattened diamond section, the hilt comprising flat quillons tapering towards the slightly downbent tips, later cord-bound leather-covered grip, and thick compressed wheel pommel with circular recess on each side.
