Lot Description

A TURQUOISE-INLAID BRONZE SWORD WARRING STATES PERIOD (475-221 BC)

The blade has a median ridge on each side and beveled edges that taper to the point. The narrow, faceted guard is inlaid with a simplified mask. There are two rings that encircle the handle below the circular pommel.
21 3/8 in. (54.3 cm.) long
